I have two fatsias which I planted this year, both in sheltered spots. I live in the South East. Do I need to put fleece on them in the winter, or do you think they'll be OK? Also, if I do need fleece, do you use a single layer? I've never used it before.

You don't need to worry about cold protection - these are hardy down to -15 degC, listed as H5 with the RHS
