I have a monkey puzzle tree cone 6 inches long 4 inches diameter it seems solid how do I get seeds from it or grow it.

I agree, but they grow VERY slowly, in 5 years or so, it will probably be about 6 or 7 inches high, so be prepared to be very patient, Derek.

Thanks for the information ,can I hurry the drying out period over a radiator I,m 81 so I may not have 7 years thanks again.

not directly on the radiator but a window sill above one should be ok. or an airing cupboard. pop the cone in a paper bag so any seed that falls doesn't get lost. Not plastic though as the seed may sweat and rot.

Thank you all ,will follow the information ,hope to have some seeds in the future, will give feedback if and when that accurs .

welcome to GoY,
leave the cone to dry out and as it does the seeds will be released. pot them into a gritty compost and leave frost free to germinate, though this may take months.
