Anthriscus sylvestris 'Ravenswing'
I seem to have a few green ones that have seeded from the original plant, no sign of that I hasten to add. Will these young ones turn deep purple or are will they stay green like cow parsley, thank you

Thanks Karen. In that case I’ll get them out, I have enough green cow parsley already :-)

Seaburn, will they be more attractive than wild cow parsley?

Doubtful as they are in fact wild cow parsley as is Raven's Wing. That is just a one off genetic variation which someone found.

yep Owd is correct. The Raven wing was a chance seedling.

Interesting, so its seeds don't come true?

think of it this way Dawn. The seeds come from the result of fertilization of '2' parents. The offspring can be very similar or very different. I don't know if you have siblings if you do are you all identical? I have 2 girls and both are from hubby one is a 5' 6" blue eyed blond the other is a 5' 2" green eyed redhead. they are like chalk and cheese.
This is true for all plants that produce seed, its natural variation.
