Here is a photo of my Champagne Rhubarb plant, I am not sure what's happening to it, could that be a flower forming on the top? I would be interested in any comments.

yes it is the flower bud. Do as Hywel says and just snap it off.

Yes it looks like a flower. I always cut them off to give the leaves a better chance of developing nice stalks. They are also rather ugly ...
