White Primula Denticulata. Mine isn't producing any petals. It's coming up with almost completely green flowerheads...they look like spent blooms, but no. This is what is happening. Any ideas why this is please?

Thanks SBG, I think you are correct. I don't think it's bird damage. Think I'll change them for something a bit more reliable.

Some years one of my purple ones does this. I wonder if birds are pecking out the petals first thing or if as the flower was forming we had a hard frost. I suspect it is more an environmental thing. as the buds were forming.
