Help please!! Have built a summerhouse and as it is on a slope some of it is below level of the garden, what ground cover can i plant now around the soil to stop mud splashes,I have put guttering on but still gets dirty

One of the fastest shrubby ground covers is Ceanothus thyrisiflorus 'Repens'. As long as its not in shade a few of these will spread quickly and not get above2ft 6.
