Hi, I have some Gazania plant, they are one of my favourite flowers. I have just got my first 2 flowers and that they have a sticky subzones on them that has the peddles stuck together. Would anyone know what it is and how to treat it Thank you in advance.

Thanks Seaburngirl, I got rid if the flowers and washed the plant with soapy water.

I suspect that has been a home for a small caterpillar. Now the flower has opened the caterpillar will have either been eaten or moved on.
