Just received my delivery from Thompson and Morgan, garden ready begonias, what a disappointment, some are beyond saving the rest are going to need a good month before they are ready to go in garden, luckily I have a greenhouse. Anyone had some problems ?

Unfortunately, I ordered some surfinia petunia plugs from T&M - I hate them, but I couldn't find anyone else offering any, they were all sold out. I ordered them in the first week of April, and they have still not arrived.Their phone lines aren't manned currently, and I've emailed three times and have now told them if they can't get them here by tomorrow, to cancel the order, and that I was sorry they were living down to their bad reputation.. I've had no response to any emails either - will be emailing again in a minute, and every hour, on the hour to see if that gets a response. I don't hold out a lot of hope of getting the plugs any time soon, or even good plugs, nor a refund...

I don't use T& M any more after a similar problem 5 yrs ago. I did get a refund in the end. I took lots of photos of the plants to show them how bad they were, with the date on the post mark and the date of receipt. they finally accepted the fact that they were not fit for purpose.

I emailed them but no response, the only reason I got them was because I didn’t think garden centres were going to be open. I also thought begonias were grown from corms, these just seem to be small cuttings. Won’t use them again, you live and learn.

Well I've had a response, finally - must be the 3 repeat emails I sent today... anyway they say they're on the list for 'picking' and will be sent in 3-5 days time. I've told them to cancel the order because they should have been here by the beginning of this week, not next week, but I bet they don't...

there are cormatous begonias which are usually the big showy ones for hanging baskets and then there are the small bedding B Sempervivum that are herbaceous and sold as plug plants.

The ones I ordered were for hanging baskets, trailing plants.

Bamboo - if you bought them using a debit or credit card, you should be able to get a refund from the card company as what you purchased was not supplied

Andrewr, I thought one could only get a refund with a credit card if the order was over £100?

Canalhopper - I don't know if that's true. It will only take one phone call to find out

My card holder helped me with £65 refund I was owed, Good Luck

I won't use T&M either. Their plants and everything else are very poor.

I only spent about £20... ordered them on 15th April, still not arrived... I email them 3 times daily, but so far have only had one response, on Thursday last week, when they said they were picking the plants that day ready to send in the next 3 working days. Unless they've sent them by carrier pigeon or on the backs of several snails, I've no idea where they are - been asking now for a refund.

Previous question
No, but if you look on other sites there are masses of threads about the poor quality of T&M plants.
