Good question - and I don't know the answer. However, it seems it does seed itself, so it can't be that difficult. Depending on how many seeds you have, I'd try a few now in a pot in the house, but save the rest for spring germination and growing. Only an annual in UK, won't take the winters here, but can be grown as a houseplant.
