hello my neighbour has an apple tree this year was full of blossom and was expecting a bumper crop but in last three days the small fruit has been dropping off tree like rain does anyone know the reason for this .

Agree - June drop. The tree produces more blossoms than it can support.

Most fruit trees do this and as said it is called June drop. It is triggered by hormonal levels in the tree.

apple trees will do this its called june drop the little ones dropping off will make room for the bigger ones.nothing to worry about.
