I have bought some dahlias bulbs from a local garden centre. in Leicestershire is it too late to plant them, if so what's the best way to storae them.

Well they won't survive unplanted until next year so plant them anyway. Even if you don't get flowers this year you can save the tubers over the winter.

You'll get flowers. Plant in full sun. You may have to stake them. They shoot up rather quickly. They should be planted a couple inches below the surface, add some organic fertilizer and keep moist with good drainage. In a week, you'll see them coming up.

welcome to GoY,
yes get them planted. I bury mine about 6 inches down and then they have some frost protection over the winter. good luck with them.

It's not too late! Get them in el pronto. Today, not tomorrow or next week. I never have luck storing them - they turn into saw dust no matter what I do. I just buy new ones every year, oh well. They are at their best late summer-fall.
