Just finished building a compost area for the humongous number of leaves we get each year. Original intention is to pout chicken wire round the posts to contain said leaves. Wondering now if I could use the long lengths of shade netting which we have instead.
What do you think?

I have seen shade netting used successfully in a large garden that we sometimes visit. it doesn't dry out so quickly round the edges so it rots more evenly.

The shade netting should work just fine as long as it allows plenty of oxygen into the pile. Composting consumes vast amounts of oxygen.
