Oh Orchids!
I replaced old bark for new in june & there has been a lot of improvement with my phalaenopsis.
One is struggling....1 good leaf,3 still shrivelled,5 great ariel roots but only 2 submerged but both broken & soft & firm & green at the same time further down the line. The crown is not rotten but only time will tell.
A lot of shop bought orchids have tiny plugs surrounded by coir in a cage & long term this invites trouble.
It is worth rescuing? Right?

I like to rescue things because they are a good learning opportunity.
