Can anyone identify these plants please. They have appeared in my cousin's garden and he asked me what they are but I can't work them out.

my first thought was a sedum but it appears to have a woody stem so i wonder if it is self sown conifer of some description.
the 2nd do look like apple suckers don't they.

The top one looks almost like some kind of Sedum, but I have my doubts. The lower ones are almost certainly some kind of apple or crabapple, seedlings or suckers.
