Hello thanks for accepting me. Ive got a question about laburnam that I can't find an answer to. Will self sown seedlings grow into flowering trees? Im doing my parents' garden, have found a laburnham seedling in aneglwcted border with roots too deep to dig uo. As their old laburnham is well past its best and very old and theyre thinking of getting a tree surgeon to take it out, is it worth leaving this big seedling as a replacement ? (it's in quite a good place I think - though they may disagree, I'm out in the garden and have yet to ask them 😊) Thanks anticipation.

Welcome - I second Seaburngirl's answer - I had one in a front garden where I lived some years back that started out as a seedling, it flowered well each year once it was old enough.
