What are you using? PC, Android phone, ipad? etc?

Have you tried using another item of equipment, maybe a laptop if you're using a 'phone?

Same problem on my laptop. No photos to accompany questions and no avatars.

I had the same trouble a while ago. It turned out to be Firefox blocking them as potential viruses so after many years I swapped to Google and can view pictures ok. I still prefer FF though.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I am using a laptop. It seems to be google chrome which is causing the problem. I have now searched under Microsoft edge and I can view all the photos. The address bar for grows on you is not showing as 'unsafe site' either, which it had done for some time. Google seems to have been playing up, so may have to switch from that permanently.
