My Dracaneas compost is very dry even not long after watering. Should I change the compost.
The plant is a few years old but in excellent condition.

If it has been in the same compost for a few years it could do with replenishing. however you could stand the pot in a shallow dish so that it can soak up slightly more water for say a couple of hours but don't leave it sitting in water all the time as the plant will rot.
