my butternut squash plants are only producing male flowers. Is there anything I can do about this?

Probably not, and a bit late for it to happen, methinks. Sun, and consistent warmth would help, and just as these plants are about to produce female flowers (males always come first, as is the norm!), the sun goes away, to be replaced with fluctuating night and day temps, and not ideal conditions for what is really a sub-tropical plant, however good it is at producing fruit here. But, a bit of sun, and it just might produce. Phil J
