When is the best time to divide a clump of Nerine bowdenii please?

I'd be tempted to do it now but try to disturb the roots as little as possible.

Thanks Sbg. I have read that they may be divided in the Autumn, while they are dormant, but others suggest doing so in the Spring!

ideally in the autumn but as they are just starting off they should settle again. I have moved them in mid summer too when the leaves have gone over but before the flowe emerge. then I also made sure that the clumps were gently teased apart as there were roots present.
