the fruit of potatoes or plums as they are called can you plant them and grow potatoes and when?

Answers

No - you need to start with new 'seed' potatoes each year.

Well, you CAN take the seeds out of the fruits and spend a few years growing them into usable size potatoes, but since spuds are highly hybridised and selected, what you would get would be almost anything but what you took the seeds from. You could get something worth having, but the chances are small.

Simply not worth it really, is it, Ob!!! That's exactly why I said a 'no'.

far better to destroy those fruits than try to grow them.
