I have a chrysanthemum in a pot which had lovely yellow flowers last year. This year has lots of green growth but not flowers at all - not even a bud. Why no flowers

It might be a late flowerer...I have one in full bloom, some just on their way, and one clump which is always last.

Otherwise, I wonder if you fed it with a fertiliser that promotes leafy growth rather than flowers?

If it's near an artificial light--such as street lights, porch lights, walk lights, etc.--it may have not got the signal of decreasing day length to form flower buds
