I have a new crop of pigface but they are only white and yellow. Last year when I first planted them they were hot pink. Do I need to treat the soil with something to improve the colour

I think it's a succulent, Louise. Ice Plant and/or Hottentot Fig. Unkind name for a pretty flower !

Ice plant is a name that umbrellas so many plants though isn't it ?
This is a perfect example of when the proper/latin name is necessary.
