I have grown from seed a bush rose, started in june 2010 and they (9 out of 10 ) are now well established in pots. I want to keep them in pots as some are to go to friends and family to remember my wife which we lost 2 years ago) What do I need to do with them now please??

Pot them up into slightly larger pots if they need it, Rayphi. That's it, really. They are hardy, so they'll be OK outside unless the winter us very cold - if that's a danger, wrap the pots in bubblewrap to stop the roots freezing.
