Fern fronds with black/brown patches.

Hello everyone. I planted this fern at the bottom of my bund hill, next to the little steps. I don’t usually have a problem with ferns, but I noticed today, this one has some blackish/brown marking on the fronds. Any advice to what it may be and if it’s best to move it to another site? Thanks.

Thanks Eileen, it’s not actually in full sun. If anything, it gets very little where it is, much later in the day. I’ll try snipping this frond off, think there may be a couple more...

does it get full sun? could be scorch.
if it is just one frond snip it off.
