Ontario, Canada
Just dug this up this morning. Haven’t a clue what it is. Anyone shed a little light on it. Thanks

Can't say that I've noticed it in bloom. Just came across it when moving a hosta, so it was underneath.
I will look and see if the anemone are anywhere near similar. The aconite are long past blooming and ours are pretty small. This has some size to it, obviously.
The bulbils are really cute.
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. I wondered if it was a wild flower of Northern Ontario or possibly, horror of horrors, a weed had steathily crept into the garden.

I think it could be Corydalis bulbosa. I have it in my garden & it looks like that.

That's interesting Feverfew. I can see that especially in the leaf. Does yours have these pink bulbils? I cant find any images of the bulb.

Thank you very much, Feverfew. I think you have got the ticket on this one. I will see if I can get it to flower and then we will have that bit as well. I think it came in on a plant clump from a friend. Just didn't want to nurture a weed.
Happy Gardening all.

welcome to GoY
well that is a pretty pink bulb with bulbils. The leaf reminds me of anemone and aconite but I don't really know.
Have you seen this plant flower and if so can you remember what it looks like?
Is it a weed in your garden?
