The clematis Sieboldii I planted two years ago didn’t flower too well. So I potted it up and kept it against the house wall. Last year it did a bit better but the blooms were pale green and definitely didn’t look like Sieboldii (I posted about this not long ago). This year it’s growing well and covered in pale green blooms that look exactly like Clematis Apple mint. Is it? Hope the photo is clear - it’s very windy today.

I really hope the blue appears next year anyway. Was it the right colour the first time it flowered?

Yes, Yorks, it was though the blooms were poor. That’s why I can’t understand the change and vigour of it now. As SBG says though it’s pretty.
