Agapanthus

My agapanthus has done well the past two years. It does seem to have far too many leaves though. Is this normal? I feel I should split it this autumn but am unsure. I’d welcome advice please.

Thank you. I’d like to put some in the ground but the last time I tried that it died. Maybe I’ll stick with pots but I don’t have much space at back and the front is north facing. Hm, needs some thought.

it looks nice and healthy to me. I tend to split mine in the spring just before growth gets underway. The trusty breadknife is invaluable to say through the roots.
