I think the first might be one of the mugworts, a British native and the second is definitely a Persicaria/ Polygonatum. Common name is bistort, and another native.
if you dont want them then yes weeds.

The first pic might be Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis)

Not sure about the first, but the second is one of the forms of Persicaria. I think.
