Hi, can anyone identify this plant which I came across growing wild for me please? Many thanks.

it is one of the crocsmia genus. as to which one it could be one of many. Montbretia is the common name given to this garden escapee. It is a none native that has either been dumped by stupid gardeners or seeds from a garden has been dispersed.
these are now counted as semi invasive and sadly are getting more and more established in the hedgerows etc.
