i was given some rhynzomes of dalia's (pathfinder) what is the best way to keep them over winter to plant out again in the border next june and will they grow well planted in a container on a sunny patio sonia

Answers

Keep them frost-free in dry sawdust or dry compost. Start them off in pots or trays in the spring. Yes, you could plant them in a container, lots of people do that with dahlias.
