Good afternoon all, I've 2 questions,
Can I reduce this Maple by 30 cm without harming it
Also and pardon the pun, is it time to get rid of this Thyme.

yes you can 'top' the maple.
when my thyme gets leggy/woody I give it a haircut to about half the size and then it regenerates nicely in the spring. They get naturally grazed by rabbits etc. so a good prune wont hurt it.
