My orchid has had many blooms but now one branch is very healthy with blooms but the other branch has finished flowering and has gone brown and dead looking can anyone advise me, do l just leave it or prune it back hard and hope it throws new shoots,it is about three years old.Many thanks Sheila

Just cut the brown bit off back to green stem. They often through a new flowering shoot off from that one. At this time of year I also wipe the leaves with a damp bit of kitchen paper to remove any dust etc.
