I have a Hydraenger (excuse spelling) in a plant pot which looks as if it will soon outgrow it. When can I put it in the ground and are there any special ways of doing so thanks

Now is a good time - make sure it's not pot-bound, though, so untangle the roots before you plant it, and make sure you give it lots of water for its first year. ('Hydrangea' by the way...you were almost right! lol)
