Good evening all, I've been gifted some seed potatoes and I know nothing about them other than your to earth them up. Does that mean that I put more compost over these leaves? Please forgive my ignorance many thanks as always

When the compost reaches the top of the pot, put four canes in the soil and twine some soft string around them to support the growth.

Basically yes, but you should always leave the top few leaves open to the sun.
So, those plants can wait a while until they are a bit taller.
