Is my anthurium too congested?

I’ve had it over 18months now and it’s flowered constantly but the leaves grow tightly up through the middle. In contrast, my friend’s (the darker pink one) is much more open and taller. Are they different varieties or does one of them need something doing to it?

they could be different varieties but I think yours looks fine.
so dont worry. you may have it in different conditions so it grows stronger.

I thought mine looked healthier too but didn't want to sound smug! Since it's doing so well I won't do anything more than I have been doing. Thank you for the replies.
