I have a DORONICUM Caucasicum Leopards Bane this the first year, has a lot of foliage do i need to cut to ground level or leave until spring.

On plant Doronicum

I usually give it a light trim after flowering so its a bit late now. However if it has some raggedy leaves now I'd trim them off and then wait for a harder trim after it has flowered next spring.

Once the clump gets big they can easily be divided to provide new plants.
