Good afternoon all, I always hear that Pholx is beautifully scented however mine smells awful but looks lovely, maybe it's my nose

No it’s not your sense of smell. Phlox come in a variety of aromas. Some smell not that great.

lets face it what one person likes others don. I hate the smell of honey for example.

The phlox I have have a range of fragrances, some nicer than others.

so yes and no it is /isn't you :o)
