Hi everyone. Am new to this site. Have discovered Platycodons this year and have just received some bare roots. My question is should I soak them and plant in small pots now or wait until spring? All advice welcome. Many thanks. Dory

Thank you Seaburngirl. Will do just that (when the rain stops!) Actually I had three plants two years ago but didnt look after them. This year decided to plant them together in one larger pot and hope for the best. They did really well. I have bought mature plants too this year. All dying down now but intend to treat them all with a lot of tlc so hopefully get a good show next year. Thanks again. Take Care. Dory x

they will need to be planted. wether in pots or where you want them in the ground. I usually put them in largish pots in good compost and keep outside until the spring when I can see new growth. I then put them in the ground in the spring when the soil starts to warm up.
welcome to GoY too Dory.
