Hi, my mexican orange blossom's leaves have a black dirty substance on them and i've noticed it's on some of the stems too. Does anyone know what this is?

On plant Choisya

Sooty mould. This grows on the sap which leaks from the plant when it is attacked by aphids (greenfly). Deal with the aphids then use a fungicide to kill off the mould.

Often, once the sugar is gone, the fungus leaves by itself. I would wash the leaves with plain water once the aphids are dead, for a start.

How do I say thanks?
