I have a Seneca Angel wings plant which I have had for only about 4 weeks but I am rather worried it has grown since I got it but the weather has changed considerably to continuous rain and it said not to let plant become waterlogged cos this can' cause the roots to rot and as I live in a ground floor flat I just have the communal garden with everything in pots and tubs is it safe to keep it inside during the winter and indeed from ow on,I can't have a greenhouse or keep it in a porch as I don't have one what can i do to protect it from rain, frost and snow etc.thankyou xx

Nature has designed succulents to survive dry for a long time.
You can bring it indoors for winter. They really hate being kept damp especially when combined with cold. In cold weather they need very little watering - probably once a fortnight or less depending on how warm the room is and let it dry out pretty well completely before watering again.. Under water rather than over water if in doubt. It will survive being dry but not being wet for long.
You can keep it growing over the winter if the room is warm or you can keep it pretty dry and have it in a cool place. The deadly combination is cold and wet.

Shirleytulip - apologies - just noticed I've more or less duplicated what you said. At least we agree!

« Has anyone advice on how to "take down" a very mature pampas grass please...
I found the following info.:
Try as much to avoid overwatering as it could cause the roots to rot. Wait for the soil to dry up completely before watering your Senecio Angel Wing again. During winter when most of the growth hormones dormant, you need to cut back the watering intervals drastically. Keep the growing pot near the sunniest windowsill to help the topsoil dry up much faster.
