Iris unguicularis.
This is flowering its socks off but it is looking tatty. what should I do re the leaves, trim them or just feed it. Never known it do this before.

Thanks Jimmy. As I said I have had these for years but this is the first time it has done this.
My Libertia has a column of dead tissue now and I think the main green bits are rooted in the old growth. That is going to be interesting to regenerate.

I would leave it until perhaps in early April and then just pull all the dead leaves out by hand and trim back those that has some green on them. It would only then that I would give it a feed. Although not having grown this plant the leaves are similar in structure as my Libertia and that is how I deal with the dead leaves on them.
