hi there, i have brought my 3 young maple trees indoors as suggested by another member.
they are atropurpureum variety, can someone please advise on the best care for them.
as i said in another post i had one last year tht was killed off by the frost and i really want these ones to survive they have been thriving in the garden so far.

Hello L, your acer's wont appreciate indoor as in 'house' conditions as it will be far to warm & worst too dry. Your variety is a reasonable toughie so I would suggest a sheltered place outdoors with perhaps some bubble wrap or polythene around your plants for wind protection but not smothered. Mine go into the polytunnel so they freeze but dont get blasted, the cold isnt an issue with acers. It's shelter they need, a friend puts theirs in the garage for the winter & that works for them. Good luck
