Do I have a problem with these beetroot?
Yesterday I noticed that one of my young beetroot plants had died. Today I noticed how badly mottled the leaves were on many of my plants. Is this just scorch or is it another problem that I should take action on?

Thanks, Seaburngirl. It has been really hard to avoid the sun here recently. It is exceptionally strong and while trying to avoid direct watering of the beets, of course, adjacent crops are being watered and spashing occurs. But take the point and will try to go under the leaves.

I'd go with scorch to be honest. water on to the soil when there is no sun on them to help them cope.
