I showed this photo a few weeks ago when the 'plant' was much smaller...could anyone reconfirm its identification please?

No I dont think so as Helianthus isn't usually a bulb unless you mean the Jerusalem Artichoke. But the foliage is wrong for that plant.

glad that is sorted, but it doesn't look like the foliage of the one I grew, but there are often lots of leaf variation.
