Me again ! My curry plant has had an amazing blooming , it is several years old , and I have never pruned it . It really is needing attention and as I think that it must be in the lavender family , ought I to chop it or just trim the seed heads ? Could they be used for making curry ?

Leaves may used as a flavouring in salads and cooked foods. They have a slight flavour of curry, though they do not impart this very well to other foods.
In spring, the curry plant should be pruned down to the old wood.
The proper name is Helichrysum italicum so not remotely related to Lavender.
