I have a wisteria in a pot on my patio. I have had it for three years. It grows onto a wall and up A trellis about 2 metres tall. It flowered for the first time this year but not overly well.
I need to move it as I am moving house. I am concerned that it is so well entwined that I will have to cut it right back to the pot to be able to move it.
Can anyone suggest the best way to move it? Perhaps it's best to leave it for the new owners.
Thank you.

It won't do it any harm at all if you have to cut it back to the main stem, even - but it would be best done after the leaves have all dropped off, when its more or less dormant. But if you can't wait till then, do it anyway.
