Hi i have an apple tree which this year has produced a large number of clusters of small apples never had this before mainly on lower levels can anyone explain

Answers
We used to get this and the advice was to remove the crown apple so that the rest would develop. The crown apple is the one right at the end of the cluster. Google it!

lots of flowers pollinated and the tree has been able to keep them all. but lots of fruits early on means smaller fruits later in the year.
often in June lots get aborted as the tree cannot support them all.
