My hydrangea is coming up to 4 years old and has only flowered once last year how do I go about planting in the ground

i don't want to depress you but that bad is far too narrow for your hydrangea. It will want to grow very much bigger than it is now and if you try to restrict its size by pruning you will cut off the flowering shoots. have you not got a bigger bed?
