Potatoes may be a winter crop where you are, like they are in southern Arizona.

from planting the seed potatoes to harvesting is around 12 - 14 weeks for early varieties and 16 - 17 weeks for main crop varieties but that is in the UK. No idea whether the same is true for where you live.
