One of our Amaryllis bulbs has grown at least 6 baby bulbs around it. All are growing beautifully in the pot at the moment. So, how best to proceed with getting the babies to grow to flowering size? Feeding regime? Repotting? Splitting?
Had much the same with a Eucomis as well. The parent bulb rotted , but lots of baies appeared in the remains of the bulb. Potted on and growing nicely.

I did nothing to mine and they flower every year round about early November.

i have always just given the plant plenty of 'food' while in leaf. When the bulb dies back I then repot the smaller bulbs on into individual pots, in a mix of JI and peat free compost. Then feed as they grow etc. I find it takes about 4-6 years until they are flowering size. Re potting into larger and larger pots as time goes on.They also flower in May for me. Only the pre prepared ones flower at Christmas.
